AI Headshot Happy Hour

Sick of ordinary headshots that are boring, expensive and don't always turn out?  Join us for a first-of-its-kind event that combines cutting edge AI technology with a healthy dose of fun and good company.  Sistech is delighted to invite you to our very first AI Headhshot Happy Hour.

What happens at an AI headshot happy hour? Well, as far as we can tell no one’s ever done one before so we’re setting the precedent. There’s no mystery to the “happy hour” portion of this event – good food, drinks and conversation in full supply. The AI headshot component deserves a little explaining…

First, you’ll be greeted by actual humans. You’ll receive a packet of information covering some of the key considerations related to AI headshots (and just AI in general), and instructions on how to take your input photos and get the results you’re hoping for.

Using your own device to take your photos, you’ll make the rounds through a handful of selfie stations until you’ve collected enough good ones to feed the AI headshot service of your choice.

Sistech will provide each person with a credit toward a single session on our service of choice, StudioShot.ai. Again, you may use any other service you like – or all of them – however, that will be at your own expense.

We’ll have volunteers at each station to assist as needed, plus spare attire and accessories to help infuse variety across your selfies – a critical component to getting good results from these algorithms.

How you can prepare for this event:

• Bring your phone with a good camera – can’t go wrong with an iPhone. (We will have a loaner.)
• Preload your device with any existing selfies/headshots that you love.
• Within the boundaries of what is authentically you: dress your best, look your best.
• Don’t take it too seriously. Be prepared for some of your photos to look like weird versions of yourself from another dimension – and remember your results are generated by robots, developed by a homogenous group of people (read men), trained on information rife with the inherent bias baked into our culture.
